In order to increase the efficiency of the railway infrastructure and increase the volume of freight car handling, the construction of a new 1,000-meter-long access railway was completed at Naibabad station as soon as possible. The implementation of this project was carried out by specialists from “Uzbekiston Temir Yullari” JSC and “Sogdiana Trans” LLC. The new section of track will significantly increase the throughput capacity of the station, as well as speed up the processes of loading and unloading wagons. In the context of the rapid growth in cargo transportation between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan, the development of infrastructure on the Hairaton-Naibabad-Mazar-e-Sharif section plays a key role. Thanks to the prompt and well-coordinated collaboration of specialists from “Uzbekiston Temir Yullari” JSC and “Sogdiana Trans” LLC, the commissioning of this additional track will create conditions for more expeditious handling of rolling stock, reduce the downtime of wagons and increase the overall efficiency of the workflow, and at the same time strengthen the role of the above-mentioned companies as a reliable partner in the railway sector. The project is of particular importance to ensure the smooth operation of freight wagons traffic and improve the quality of service for shippers and consignees. “Sogdiana Trans” LLC also continues systematic work on the modernization and development of the “Hairaton-Naibabad-Mazar-e-Sharif” railway infrastructure, contributing to the strengthening of the region's transport potential.
